I’ve been been drawing for as long as I can remember. As a lover of comics, art, nature and graphic novels, The Nature Buddies has been the one project that brings these passions together. I love creating this series and can’t wait to bring it to young readers around the world.

I love to create nature related graphic novels for kids and I start most of my work with paper and ink pens or sharpies before finishing in Procreate. It’s important for me to work with physical media when generating ideas.

As a Native American/Hispanic engaged in environmental sustainability and art, I feel drawn to a relationship with nature and stewardship of the natural land. I love drawing characters that evoke joy and help people connect with nature and conservation.
